Welcome to the ‘Voices of Limerick’ Website

“Voices of Limerick” is a non-commercial choir whose membership is wholly voluntary. Its aim is to foster a love and knowledge of all music amongst its members and audiences.

Latest News…

In June 2023, the choir performed at ‘Limerick Sings’ in the Redemptorist Church. We were delighted to share the stage with choirs from all over the world and to attend a workshop with the King’s Singers.

November is a busy month for Voices of Limerick…..

On Thursday November 14th at 5.30pm in the University of Limerick, we will be lending our support to the #keeplyricinLimerick campaign by joining the Irish Chamber Orchestra and other choirs in Limerick for a #roarofsupport. We hope to convince RTE to reverse their decision on the future of Lyric FM in Limerick.

We were privileged to take part in the ‘Light a Memory’ ceremony in Milford Hospice on December 9th.  This is a poignant and special occasion for families who have experienced bereavement in the Mid West region. The choir sang a selection of Christmas carols during the prayer service in the chapel. To sponsor a light on the tree at Milford Hospice, visit the following link:  ‘Sponsor a Light’
